Key Responsibilities\n

The LCSW will undertake a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments for children referred to the program, utilizing standardized tools and observation methods.

• Collaborating actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) tailored to each child's needs.
\n
• Monitoring and documenting treatment outcomes, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal child and family support.
\n
• Providing education and strategies to families, helping them understand their child's developmental journey in the context of an empowering and supportive framework.
\n
• Facilitating a family-centered approach by building rapport and trust among family members, fostering a nurturing environment conducive to learning and growth.

• Adhering strictly to all relevant Federal and State regulations to maintain compliance and protect the welfare of those we serve.

• Utilizing evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment model to guide therapeutic interventions, ensuring that strategies are applicable in real-life settings.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early intervention and social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a clientele primarily consisting of infants and toddlers, particularly those diagnosed with disabilities or developmental delays. By providing individualized care and support, the LCSW will enhance children's physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and communication skills during these formative years, ultimately contributing to their long-term success and inclusion.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work, with an appropriate license issued by the Department of Public Health.

• A valid LCSW credential.

Preferred Experience\n

While experience working with children in early intervention is essential, candidates with additional qualifications such as bilingual skills (Spanish preferred) will have an advantageous edge in serving our diverse client base. A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in similar environments will strengthen the application.
