Our typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments, taking into account the individual experiences and backgrounds of each patient.

• Create tailored treatment plans based on insightful assessments that incorporate evidence-based interventions.

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, facilitate group therapy, and engage in family therapy as needed to address various mental health concerns.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Assist in crisis intervention and provide emergency support during urgent mental health situations.

• Guide patients and their families through understanding mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources that can aid their wellbeing.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient interactions is maintained, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training sessions, contributing insights and learning from experienced colleagues.

• Stay abreast of current research and best practices concerning mental health therapy and cultural considerations.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field; a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is preferred.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of Maryland.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Proficient in digital tools and telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
