This position allows for a remote work setting, providing flexibility while maintaining access to an established outpatient office environment. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories and identify tailored treatment pathways.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that focus on recovery from trauma and the building of resilience in clients.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma and cultivate effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on the effects of trauma, coping mechanisms, and community resources.

• Maintain precise, confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on advancements in trauma therapy best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on serving adults and adolescents who have experienced various forms of trauma. Clients may present with PTSD, anxiety disorders, depression, and other mental health challenges stemming from traumatic experiences. By utilizing trauma-informed care, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients toward emotional healing and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C within the state of Maryland.

• Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a non-judgmental and supportive therapeutic environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
