Our outpatient office is well-equipped with the necessary tools and technologies, including Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, to facilitate your work and minimize administrative burdens.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized assessments and create tailored therapeutic strategies to address the unique needs of each client.

• Provide evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to individuals, groups, couples, and families.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver comprehensive care to clients.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, following legal and ethical standards to ensure the highest quality of care.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional education and training, participating in workshops to stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on empowering individuals and families who face barriers to receiving mental health care. You will work with clients experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. By fostering trusting relationships, you will help clients navigate their emotions and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted license to practice as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, particularly within a clinical setting.

• Demonstrated understanding of legal, ethical, and clinical guidelines pertinent to mental health practice.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
