Work Environment\n

This role offers flexibility with the advantage of remote work, allowing our Social Worker to engage directly with students and their families via telehealth and scheduled in-person visits as needed. The Social Worker will collaborate with school staff and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care and support for students’ mental health and educational needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Master Social Worker will be tasked with the following key responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to understand each student’s unique emotional, mental, and social challenges.

• Working closely with students and their families to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to their specific needs and educational goals.
\n
• Providing ongoing counseling and emotional support to students, helping them navigate academic pressures and personal challenges.

• Advocating for students' rights and ensuring their access to appropriate support services and community resources.
\n
• Collaborating with teachers, counselors, and other school professionals to create an integrated support system that addresses both academic and emotional needs.

• Facilitating communication among family members to address any conflicts and promote a nurturing environment.

• Monitoring students’ progress and well-being regularly through follow-up visits and assessments.

• Educating families about available resources, support programs, and strategies to enhance their children’s social engagement and academic performance.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of assessments, care plans, and interactions in accordance with ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, the Social Worker will focus primarily on children and adolescents enrolled in the school system. This includes working with students who may face a variety of challenges such as learning disabilities, behavioral issues, family dynamics, or emotional distress. By addressing these issues, our Social Worker plays a crucial role in fostering a positive school experience for students and helping them succeed academically and personally.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a social work role, ideally within a school or community-based setting.

• A deep understanding of social work principles, particularly related to the challenges faced by children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficient assessment, counseling, and problem-solving abilities, with a strong capacity for empathy and rapport-building.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits package includes:
