Work Environment\n

This position is structured as a remote role, enabling you to engage with students and families through virtual platforms, while also allowing for some on-site school involvement. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work schedule that promotes both productivity and personal well-being. With our modern technology, you will be equipped to efficiently communicate, manage case files, and provide therapeutic support for clients regardless of their location.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as a liaison, effectively collaborating with students, families, and outpatient mental health and social service providers to ensure holistic care.

• Engage with insurance companies to handle pre-certification requests and facilitate utilization management processes for services provided.
\n
• Contribute to discharge planning and aftercare coordination, helping clients transition smoothly from therapeutic services.
\n
• Provide therapeutic meal support, demonstrating healthy relationships with food and engaging clients in discussions around nutrition and mental health.
\n
• Deliver empathetic, affirming care tailored to each individual's unique experiences and intersecting identities.

• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of clinical sessions and treatment plans in accordance with professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on supporting school-aged children and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges. You will address issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and relationship difficulties. Our clientele often represents a diversity of backgrounds, requiring a culturally competent approach to ensure each student's specific needs are met with understanding and respect.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Texas is required.
