Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our growing outpatient practice in New Rochelle, New York. This full-time position plays a crucial role in rebuilding patients' mobility and enhancing their quality of life, through tailored rehabilitation approaches that promote recovery and functional independence.

Our innovative outpatient facility, encompassing 5,000 square feet, is equipped with state-of-the-art sports medicine technology that facilitates effective treatment modalities. Our small, collaborative team currently includes two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all focused on fostering a supportive and compassionate environment for our patients. We primarily serve individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring that our patients receive personalized attention throughout their treatment journey.

Work Environment

This is an onsite role, situated in a modern outpatient office in New Rochelle. The facility is designed to create a welcoming atmosphere conducive to healing, featuring dedicated treatment areas, fitness spaces, and advanced therapeutic equipment. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a balanced lifestyle while providing crucial healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to establish patient needs and treatment goals.
• Manage a patient load that averages two individuals per hour, ensuring tailor-made care for each.
• Implement evidence-based therapies aimed at enhancing patients' range of motion and physical abilities.
• Design personalized treatment plans that include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities appropriate for each patient's condition.
• Promote non-surgical alternatives and strategies to reduce reliance on medications, advocating for holistic health and wellness.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and in compliance with legal requirements, utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment strategies and patient care.
• Educate and motivate patients on lifestyle changes and exercise regimens that support rehabilitation goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse group of patients, primarily adults and older adults, who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. The emphasis will be on improving functionality, strength, and mobility through guided intervention and support.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is a minimum requirement.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Rochelle, New York without any disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrable proficiencies in manual therapy techniques and health promotion exercises.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to manage patient records and facilitate communication.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, showcasing your ability to devise and execute effective treatment plans.
• Proven expertise in designing tailored therapeutic exercise programs that align with patients' individual needs and recovery trajectories.
• Previous experience working in a dynamic team-oriented environment is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges between USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
