Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, encompassing various evidence-based techniques.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, evaluations, and periodic re-evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

• Educate and instruct patients, families, and other caregivers on effective therapy techniques and exercises to promote home-based rehabilitation.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in line with clinic protocols and regulatory standards, ensuring patient records are comprehensive and compliant.

• Stay current on advancements in physical therapy practices and emerging treatment modalities through ongoing professional development.

• Assist in training and supervising Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) in delivering optimal patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At BodySync PT, you will encounter a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on orthopedic conditions. Your work will include treating individuals recovering from surgeries, joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The clinic is committed to providing individualized care, ensuring that your approach to each patient is tailored to their specific needs and goals.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New York.

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting. However, we encourage new graduates with clinical rotations in orthopedics to apply.

• Proficiency in therapeutic techniques, highly skilled in manual therapy, and experience with functional movement assessments are essential.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills to ensure effective care delivery and patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

Experience in specialized orthopedic rehabilitation modalities and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be considered a plus. A proven track record in enhancing patient outcomes and a commitment to ongoing learning and improvement are highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
