Our team consists of two dedicated physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), collaborating to provide exceptional care tailored to our patients' specific conditions. We cater predominantly to individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring a focused and quality-driven patient experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position with hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured schedule that fosters work-life balance. You will work onsite in our outpatient office, which is designed to create a comfortable and therapeutic environment for recovery. Key Responsibilities

• Actively assess and address the goals and needs of each patient, ensuring tailored treatment plans that focus on their unique conditions.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour, allowing for quality interaction and care.
• Utilize your prior experience in orthopedic outpatient care to inform therapeutic strategies and approaches.
• Develop and implement cost-effective treatments aimed at improving mobility and motion, including physical modalities and functional exercises.
• Encourage non-surgical alternatives whenever possible, working to minimize patient medication reliance.
• Create individualized care plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Customize fitness and wellness programs that align with the specific needs of each patient to enhance their recovery process.
• Offer motivating support and encouragement to patients throughout their treatment journey, focusing on achieving optimal functioning.
• Promote overall health by enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effects, monitor patient progress, and sustain open lines of communication with both patients and team members.
• Document care services thoroughly to maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York, with no past board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in effective exercise prescription are essential.
• Experience with EMR systems, including WebPT, is preferred to streamline patient record management.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting. This experience is crucial for understanding the complex needs of our patient demographic and developing effective treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with comprehensive benefits.
