Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while effectively delivering care. As part of our community health clinic's integrated care team, you will collaborate with various healthcare professionals to create a supportive environment fostering teamwork, innovation, and mutual growth. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening commitments required based on client appointments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and substance use, determining the presence of co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate closely with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs using evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to enhance clients' coping mechanisms, develop relapse prevention strategies, and nurture emotional regulation skills.

• Work in tandem with a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care with psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists to ensure a unified approach to treatment.

• Engage in regular substance use monitoring and apply motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients throughout their recovery process.

• Educate clients and their families about the connections between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the significance of adherence to treatment protocols.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment interventions, and referrals, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines.

• Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and ongoing professional training to remain current on best practices in co-occurring disorder treatment.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques specifically designed for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Comprehensive understanding of the interplay between mental health and substance use disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
