This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide impactful mental health care remotely within a community health clinic setting, specifically focusing on the well-being of children and adolescents.

Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the specific needs of children and adolescents.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that take into account individual developmental stages, family dynamics, and cultural backgrounds.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions that address issues ranging from emotional disturbances to learning challenges.

• Lead family therapy sessions aimed at educating and empowering parents and caregivers, fostering healthier family dynamics.

• Work synergistically with child psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.

• Render crisis intervention services during high-stress emergencies involving children and adolescents, collaborating with families for effective support.

• Offer educational resources to patients and their families concerning various mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and community resources.

• Maintain precise, confidential documentation compliant with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient information remains secure.

• Participate actively in team meetings to discuss case consultations, share insights, and engage in professional development activities.

• Stay updated on trends within child and adolescent psychiatry, enhancing practice with current research and evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with children and adolescents facing mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, and various behavioral issues. We aim to create an inclusive environment that recognizes and respects the unique backgrounds of each patient. Engaging caregivers and families in the therapeutic process is a significant aspect of our practice, ensuring a supportive network around the young individuals.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington State.

• A strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology applications is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
