In this full-time role, you will engage in remote therapy sessions while supporting our outpatient office in Richland, Washington. Work Environment\n

This position uniquely blends the flexibility of a remote work setting with the collaborative nature of an outpatient office environment. You will have the autonomy to conduct therapy via telehealth platforms, while also partaking in coordinated care discussions with on-site colleagues as necessary. Our standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate our patients' schedules as needed.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, gathering comprehensive information to accurately understand their needs.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on individual evaluations, family dynamics, and developmental considerations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy to effectively address and manage various mental health concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to educate and strengthen relationships within family systems, focusing on fostering nurturing relationships and communication.

• Engage in a collaborative approach by working closely with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

• Provide crisis intervention and timely support during mental health emergencies involving youth, guiding families through challenging scenarios.

• Educate patients and their caregivers regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources to promote informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring all records are up-to-date.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development workshops to stay updated on best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

• Commit to continuous learning about current research and innovative treatment modalities specific to youth mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele for this role includes children and adolescents facing a spectrum of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to ADHD and behavioral disorders. The therapist will work with various age groups, tailoring interventions to suit developmental stages. Family engagement is central to our approach, acknowledging the critical role of caregivers in the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of Washington.

• A strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly working with children and families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
