Work Environment

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic equipment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient conditions and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at recovery from orthopedic injuries.
• Utilize a variety of treatment methods, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Perform regular progress assessments and document treatments, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing patient needs and therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation strategies, exercise regimes, and the proper use of assistive devices to improve daily functioning.
• Work with caregivers and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and training that enhance clinical skills and knowledge of new techniques and treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Our diverse clientele ranges from active children to seniors with chronic conditions, requiring a therapist who is adaptable and possesses a broad understanding of varying rehabilitation protocols.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficient in using word processing and clinical documentation software.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
