Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking an experienced and dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art facility in Miramar Beach, Florida. As a full-time practitioner, you will play a critical role in our patients' journeys towards restoring their mobility and enhancing their overall quality of life. This position involves direct patient care, treatment planning, and working closely with a collaborative team to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.

Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced sports medicine technology to support our mission of delivering exceptional patient care. We primarily serve clients covered by private medical insurance, focusing on personalized, evidence-based therapies to promote recovery, wellness, and injury prevention. Our team consists of two professional Physical Therapists, one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), and a commitment to nurturing a supportive and collaborative environment.

Work Environment

This position requires a full-time commitment with an onsite work setting at our Miramar Beach facility. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to engage with patients in a structured environment that enhances both treatment and recovery processes. The collaborative environment fosters continuous learning and improvement, enabling therapists to share best practices and innovative treatment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address patients' specific goals and therapeutic needs.
• Manage a patient load of 2-3 patients per hour, implementing effective treatment plans tailored to individual capacities.
• Prepare and execute hands-on manual therapy techniques, emphasizing orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Create and maintain comprehensive care plans featuring a diverse array of treatment modalities.
• Design and implement wellness and fitness programs to promote long-term patient health goals.
• Monitor patient progress diligently, documenting observations and adjustments in treatment as needed.
• Encourage patients through motivational support during their rehabilitation journeys to enhance engagement and commitment.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and facilitate patient recovery.
• Educate patients about injury prevention and the importance of maintaining active lifestyles.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice caters primarily to orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This is an opportunity to work closely with a diverse patient demographic, each with unique rehabilitation needs and goals. Your role as a Physical Therapist is essential in helping clients restore their function and redefine their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active Florida Physical Therapist License with no board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Proficient manual therapy skills and a demonstrated ability to implement therapeutic exercises.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based practices in rehabilitation and a track record of effective patient outcome improvements will be advantageous. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, starting from $100,000 and potentially reaching up to $120,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
