Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments, involving direct interviews, observations, and comprehensive reviews of student histories to accurately evaluate the emotional and social factors affecting their educational success.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions, equipping students with coping strategies and emotional support as they navigate their individual challenges.

• Collaborate actively with teachers and school staff to create and implement tailored treatment plans that address each student's specific psychosocial needs.

• Facilitate access to community resources and support systems, aiding students and their families in connecting with local services such as mental health support groups and educational assistance programs.

• Engage in discharge planning and support transitions to ensure that students maintain their progress as they reintegrate back into their educational settings or additional care environments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will focus on a diverse student population, ranging from young children to teenagers, all facing unique emotional, social, and behavioral challenges. Your role will be crucial in helping them to navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, and adjustment disorders, fostering resilience and facilitating their reintegration into school life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required to ensure a strong foundation in psychological principles and practices.

• Must possess active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to practice independently.

Compensation and Benefits\n
