Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive assessments for new patients and their families, identifying unique needs and challenges.

• Deliver individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific requirements of each client, employing therapeutic techniques and strategies that enhance their mental health and well-being.

• Document treatment progress and billing accurately, completing individualized treatment plans, and managing insurance authorization forms promptly.
\n
• Develop and implement crisis plans, safety protocols, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans that empower patients to maintain stability in their daily lives.

• Formulate discharge plans for patients, ensuring a smooth transition and continued support post-therapy.
\n
• Adhere strictly to all federal and state regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures, maintaining the highest ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training programs and relevant continuing education opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to foster collaborative care amongst team members.
\n
• Complete all necessary licensure and mandatory training requirements on time.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a wide array of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who are navigating various mental health issues. This includes anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychiatric disorders. Your strong commitment to culturally competent care will be essential in addressing the diverse backgrounds and unique experiences of those we serve.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that fulfills the licensing requirements is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW) in California is mandatory for this position.

• Experience in outpatient settings or working remotely is highly desirable.
