Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and needs, developing personalized treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Implement and administer appropriate physical therapy interventions, utilizing advanced techniques to promote recovery, manage pain, and improve function.
• Showcase outstanding customer service by building rapport with patients, actively listening to their concerns, and providing education on their conditions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care, participating in case conferences and sharing insights to enhance patient outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor support staff and students, fostering an environment of learning and professional development.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient progress accurately, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.
• Meet and exceed practice metrics for patient utilization, outcomes, and overall satisfaction, contributing to the business's operational success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve treating a diverse population of patients, including those with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by APTA or CAPTE.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from an accredited provider, such as the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in computer skills, including EHR management and basic word processing.
• Commitment to building long-lasting relationships with patients and their families, fostering trust and engagement in their recovery process.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings, particularly in the specialties of orthopedics, pediatrics, or sports therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with skills and experience.
