Work Environment

This position is onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility that is designed to offer a welcoming and calming atmosphere for both patients and staff. You will work Monday through Friday, from 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing for a structured yet fulfilling work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to understand individual needs and therapeutic requirements.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with physicians and the patient care team, focusing on goal achievement and sustained patient engagement.
• Deliver skilled physical therapy techniques, adapting treatment modalities as required to align with the established plan of care.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, therapies, and use of assistive devices to promote effective home care practices.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Prioritize and manage your caseload effectively, coordinating with team members to determine daily staffing needs and patient assignments.

Qualifications

• A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of commencing employment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
