Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Viera Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical condition and specific needs.
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that utilize the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
• Engaging in therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to help patients regain function and manage pain.
• Documenting treatment progress and outcomes to ensure adherence to best practices and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Providing education and support to patients and their caregivers regarding therapy goals, techniques, and home exercises, empowering them through the recovery process.
• Meeting the minimum utilization goals and upholding the overall business objectives of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will treat a diverse patient population, including those with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine needs. The ability to adapt treatment modalities based on the unique demographics and conditions of your patients will be essential. Building strong therapeutic relationships with each patient will enable you to inspire and motivate them to exceed their functional goals, making a tangible impact on their lives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A current state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least two years of clinical experience in a relevant setting.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of connecting with patients and their families effectively.
• Proficient in word processing and electronic health record systems.
• A demonstrated ability to cultivate lasting relationships with patients and a genuine desire to positively influence their lives.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years' experience is required, candidates with additional experience in specialized areas of physical therapy, such as sports rehabilitation or pediatric care, will be considered favorable. Experience in a fast-paced outpatient setting is advantageous, as well as familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and modalities.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
