Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to coordinate and implement effective mental health treatment strategies for clients, ensuring continuity of care beyond clinic walls.

• Facilitate mental health in-service training for medical, psychiatric, and security staff to enhance their understanding of mental health issues and intervention techniques.

• Proactively intervene during mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation strategies while providing immediate support and guidance to affected patients.

• Represent the organization during commitment hearings and other legal proceedings as required by contractual obligations.

• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals tailored to each patient's unique needs and circumstances.

• Document all patient interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in an organized manner to ensure comprehensive care continuity.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of all medical records, adhering to HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

• Conduct thorough verifications of past mental health histories, including current and past medications to inform treatment decisions.

• Prepare and submit scheduled reports on patient progress, mental health trends, and special cases as needed.

• Collaborate with nursing and psychiatric staff to arrange post-release referrals, ensuring seamless transitions to outpatient care.
