Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with our Medical Director and mental health team to coordinate mental health treatment plans and interventions for patients, both within our outpatient facility and in connection with external services.

• Provide mental health in-service training for medical and psychiatric staff, ensuring comprehensive knowledge and support for all team members.

• Intervene and manage mental health emergencies that arise within the facility, using evidence-based techniques to de-escalate crises and support patient safety.

• Participate in legal commitment hearings as required, advocating for patient needs and rights in a professional manner.

• Develop personalized treatment plans and therapeutic goals for individual patients, taking into account their unique backgrounds and challenges.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions and care provided, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Safeguard confidentiality of medical records, prioritizing patient dignity and trust in all aspects of care.

• Verify comprehensive mental health histories of patients, including the assessment of any psychotropic medications they may be taking.
