Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gauge patients' trauma histories and identify suitable treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, build coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, offering essential stabilization and guidance to patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a client base primarily comprised of individuals who have experienced significant trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value comprehensive knowledge and a demonstrated ability in trauma-focused therapies and interventions. Compensation and Benefits\n
