Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that take into account the interplay between psychiatric issues and accompanying medical conditions, such as chronic pain and autoimmune disorders.

• Design, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that holistically address both the psychiatric and physical health needs of clients.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic strategies tailored to meet patients’ unique clinical situations.

• Collaborate with our integrated care team, including primary care providers, to coordinate treatment approaches and effectively manage client care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring a safe and responsive environment for our clients.

• Educate patients about the critical links between mental health and overall physical well-being to empower their self-management strategies.

• Maintain clear, accurate, and secure documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Sanity Family Care Center, you will work primarily with patients facing co-occurring conditions, including mental health issues alongside chronic medical concerns or substance use disorders. Your role will involve supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they receive tailored, compassionate care that addresses both their mental and physical needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of Massachusetts.

• Demonstrated proficiency in addressing the mental health needs of patients with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Experience in delivering integrated care within a multidisciplinary team setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
