** Hourly Rate: $33/HR-$37/HR (Based on experience and qualifications)**

Role Overview :

Brilliant Financial Staffing has partnered with a client in Aurora, IL to identify an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This position will be hired on a contract-to-hire basis, offering the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

The ideal candidate will have full-cycle accounts payable experience, strong attention to detail, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables. If you're looking to join a collaborative team with long-term growth potential, we encourage you to apply today.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process from invoice receipt through payment.
• Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and packing slips to ensure accuracy.
• Audit purchase orders and investigate discrepancies to resolve billing issues.
• Collaborate with internal departments to research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
• Process approximately 50 invoices per week.
• Set up ACH payments for management approval.
• Generate, review, and monitor accounts payable aging reports.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure timely payment processing.

Qualifications :

• Previous accounts payable experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, required.
• Ability to work a 7:00 AM start time required.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
