Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct mental health assessments to evaluate the needs, strengths, and challenges of clients, establishing a foundation for tailored treatment plans.

• Develop, implement, and coordinate personalized clinical treatment programs for clients experiencing acute or chronic mental health issues, ensuring adherence to state and NCQA regulations.
\n
• Provide outpatient psychotherapy sessions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based modalities for effective treatment.
\n
• Prepare comprehensive intake summaries, detailed treatment plans, and progress notes to document client treatment while maintaining confidentiality in compliance with legal requirements.

• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to assess the necessity for psychotropic medication and monitor client responses effectively.
\n
• Engage in staff conferences to discuss treatment progress, adjusting care strategies based on comprehensive team feedback.
\n
• Supervise and mentor Post Masters Fellows, Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage Family Therapists, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, facilitating their growth and development.

• Provide supportive counseling to the families of clients, offering guidance on treatment processes and strategies to foster engagement and adherence.
\n
• Participate in the department's on-call rotation as necessary, providing crisis intervention support when acute scenarios arise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Remote Mental Health Therapist will primarily work with a diverse population of clients, including adults and children facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our clients often seek treatment for conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and relationship issues. Our approach tailors therapeutic interventions to the unique needs of individuals, ensuring our methods resonate with their experiences and promote healing.

Qualifications\n

• Must have a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
