Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the emotional, social, and developmental needs of children and adolescents.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic techniques appropriate for various developmental stages.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy, to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to strengthen relationships and guide parents and caregivers in nurturing a supportive home environment.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure that all aspects of a patient's treatment are aligned.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during urgent mental health situations involving youths.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation that aligns with ethical and legal standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings for case reviews, treatment planning, and professional development.

• Stay updated on cutting-edge research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health to continuously enhance therapeutic efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents grappling with diverse mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Solid understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and mastery of evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and therapeutic applications suitable for online therapy.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a nurturing, child-focused approach.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focusing on children's mental health.
