Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities to identify the need for physical therapy interventions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, exercise programs, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment.
• Utilize a holistic approach to rehabilitation, with a focus on pain management, mobility enhancement, and overall functional improvement.
• Monitor patient progress, documenting treatments, outcomes, and necessary adjustments to care plans in a timely manner.
• Provide education and training to patients, family members, and caregivers concerning therapy techniques and home exercise programs to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, attending regular meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, encompassing children recovering from sports injuries, adults experiencing post-operative rehabilitation, and elderly individuals aiming to maintain independence in their daily activities. The successful applicant will work with patients with a variety of diagnoses, including orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes, requiring a flexible and innovative approach to treatment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT preferred), with current licensure to practice in New Jersey.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Basic proficiency in computer operations and electronic health record systems.
• Physical stamina and adaptability to meet the demands of a fast-paced rehabilitation environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in rehabilitation or outpatient therapy.
• Experience with assistive devices and adaptive training, enabling effective patient-centered care.
• Prior experience in mentoring or supervising new graduates is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
