Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical assessments, and formulating tailored treatment plans based on individual health goals.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families, ensuring inclusivity in goal-setting and therapy direction.
• Implement and adapt treatment protocols in line with varying patient presentations, taking into account advancements in healthcare practices.
• Engage in collaboration with other healthcare providers as necessary, and document any changes in patient conditions that may necessitate adjustments to the treatment plan.
• Manage discharge planning systematically, ensuring comprehensive follow-up care and accurate documentation of patient treatments, including progress notes and evaluation summaries.
• Exhibit strong time management skills to maintain productivity expectations, accurately manage schedules, and participate in community outreach and marketing programs.
• Meet compliance standards set by governing and accrediting bodies, actively contributing to departmental goals and objectives.
• Champion continuing education endeavors for personal and professional growth, serving as a clinical instructor for incoming students.
• Facilitate excellent customer experience by embracing flexibility and resilience in providing care while actively engaging in initiatives to enhance patient access.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will primarily work with a diverse group of orthopedic patients. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or following rehabilitation protocols for sports injuries and accidents. Your role will be key in helping patients regain their mobility and improve their physical function, working closely with both elderly patients and young adults alike.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• A valid state license for Physical Therapy must be obtained based on your work location.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

While prior work experience in a clinical setting is beneficial, it is not a strict requirement for this role. We encourage new graduates and individuals looking to grow in their physical therapy careers to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
