The Individual and Family Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote team. In this full-time role, you will facilitate both telehealth and in-person therapeutic sessions, primarily serving clients in La Vergne, Tennessee, and surrounding areas. Work Environment\n

As a remote member of our community health clinic, you will benefit from a flexible working environment that accommodates various schedules, allowing you to provide therapy between 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ histories and determine effective treatment plans.

• Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment strategies that target trauma recovery and encourage resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, specifically Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at assisting clients in processing their trauma, coping with distress, and fostering recovery.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to offer integrated and comprehensive care for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that clients receive prompt support and guidance.

• Educate both clients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, while informing them of available resources.

• Ensure meticulous documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards of practice in mental health documentation.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest trends in trauma-informed care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LPC licensure in the state of Tennessee.

Compensation and Benefits\n
