Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of children and adolescents. This may involve gathering information from various sources, including parents, teachers, and other professionals.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that account for the developmental stages of young patients and their family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy, to treat a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at improving communication and support within the family unit, essential for fostering a nurturing environment.

• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment pathways, and local community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

• Actively contribute to team discussions, sharing insights and expertise that enhance collaborative care efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on the mental health needs of children and adolescents. You will work closely with patients aged 5 to 18 years, addressing issues such as emotional dysregulation, family disruptions, and academic challenges. The work requires a trauma-informed, child-centered approach, with an emphasis on establishing strong rapport and trust with both the young patients and their families.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Holding a current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with proficiency in various evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and family therapy, showcasing effective therapeutic skills.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a compassionate approach vital for engaging with young patients.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
