Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Collaborate with families to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that consider developmental stages and individual family dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address specific mental health struggles such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to engage and educate caregivers about their child’s needs, further supporting the therapeutic journey.

• Work closely with other child psychiatrists and mental health professionals to coordinate a holistic approach to care, ensuring all aspects of a patient’s health are addressed.

• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and appropriate care for young patients.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment strategies, and available community resources to promote empowerment and understanding.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and behavioral issues. You will engage with diverse populations, recognizing the unique needs of each individual while fostering a nurturing therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure in California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a Licensed Psychologist.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, specifically in child and adolescent therapy.

• Experience providing both individual and family therapy and a track record of successfully working with children and adolescents is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Core Mind Mental and Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
