Vitality Therapy Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our specialized child and adolescent psychiatry team. This is a full-time remote position offering the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in the field, focusing on providing high-quality mental health services to young individuals and their families.

Work Environment\n

This remote role will allow you to provide therapy services via telehealth, enabling flexibility for both you and your clients. You'll be able to work from any location while maintaining a structured schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Our telehealth platform is user-friendly and equipped to facilitate effective communication and engagement with our young clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological and emotional needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider developmental stages, family dynamics, and specific mental health diagnoses.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, tailored to the unique needs of young patients.

• Engage in family therapy sessions to educate and support parents and caregivers, helping them foster a nurturing environment at home.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other clinicians to provide a coordinated, comprehensive approach to care.

• Respond to mental health crises involving children and adolescents, offering immediate support and intervention as necessary.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources to enhance support systems.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with state regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to foster a culture of learning and collaboration.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of child and adolescent mental health, integrating new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents facing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and behavioral disorders. You will play a critical role in not only addressing these issues but also in empowering young patients and their families to achieve better mental health outcomes. Your expertise and guidance will help them navigate challenges and develop healthier coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.

• A strong knowledge base of child and adolescent mental health disorders, as well as evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents, with demonstrable skills in creating rapport and trust.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, underscored by a compassionate and child-centered approach.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to mental health practice.

• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting focusing on children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The anticipated salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and USD 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, a sign-on bonus is available to support your transition to our team.
