Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of senior clients' mental health, determining individual care needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve senior citizens who may be grappling with a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, grief, and adjustment disorders relating to significant life changes. This vulnerable population requires a counselor who not only possesses clinical expertise but also demonstrates deep empathy and an understanding of the cultural backgrounds that shape their experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
