Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments of clients' mental health concerns, including presenting issues and psychosocial factors, to formulate clinical diagnoses.

• Develop and implement comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual client needs and goals.

• Provide therapeutic services, including individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing a range of modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Offer crisis intervention support during acute mental health emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely and appropriate care.
\n
• Maintain accurate and secure client records according to legal and ethical standards, including documenting treatment progress and adjustments to plans as needed.

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver comprehensive mental health care.

• Educate clients and family members about mental health conditions, therapeutic approaches, and community resources available to them.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay updated with best practices and innovations in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges. This includes anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. Your work aims to empower clients by providing them with tools and strategies to effectively manage their mental health and achieve personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) is required.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.

• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, coupled with the ability to develop insightful treatment plans.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical or mental health setting.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enhance therapeutic relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with experience. Gentle Motion Psychotherapy Services offers a competitive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, generous paid time off, and flexible work schedules.
