Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments via telehealth to identify the psychological needs of children and adolescents.

• Provide emergency crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and resources during mental health crises.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment pathways, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and support systems.

• Maintain meticulously accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily involves working with children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, attentional issues, and conduct problems. You will be instrumental in devising effective treatment strategies that not only address the mental health concerns of young individuals but also promote overall family wellness and engagement.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating your ability to effectively support young clients.

• In-depth knowledge of the mental health disorders affecting children and adolescents, complemented by familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Demonstrable experience in providing both individual and family therapeutic services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
