Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, utilizing a telehealth model to meet with clients virtually. While the standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional adjustments may be necessary based on the scheduling demands of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to explore clients' backgrounds, histories, and therapeutic needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering recovery, resilience, and emotional well-being.

• Deliver evidence-based interventions, including specialized techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide an integrated care experience tailored to each client's needs.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety for clients.

• Facilitate educational sessions for clients and families, focusing on coping skills, trauma responses, and available resources for further assistance.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in case consultations and weekly team meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and teamwork centered on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a varied population of trauma survivors, which may include veterans, individuals who have experienced domestic violence, and those coping with grief and loss. Your role is pivotal in creating a supportive atmosphere where these individuals can explore their emotions and work towards healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.

Compensation and Benefits\n
