Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with primary care practitioners to identify, treat, and manage mental health and psychosocial issues, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of the primary care team.

• Conduct thorough patient intakes focusing on diagnostic and functional assessments, which guide therapy objectives and treatment recommendations.

• Provide urgent mental health interventions for clients requiring immediate care, and develop individualized treatment plans accordingly.
\n
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Assist clients in establishing relapse prevention strategies and support them in navigating their mental health journey.
\n
• Conduct follow-up evaluations to monitor client progress, evaluating treatment effectiveness and making necessary adjustments.
\n
• Document all patient interactions and progress accurately within our electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with Agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) standards.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning, maintaining consistent communication with primary care providers to keep them informed of patient needs and progress.
\n
• Empower clients by providing essential self-management skills and educational resources that encourage proactive involvement in their recovery process.
\n
• Consult with clinic management and fellow team members to explore behavioral service offerings, outcomes evaluation, and potential program development opportunities.

• Adhere to the Clinical Professionals' Code of Ethics and perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC at Brightways Recovery Plus, you will support diverse populations, including individuals with varying mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to more complex psychosocial issues. You will be at the forefront of providing essential support and treatment to clients, helping them navigate their unique circumstances and prioritize their mental health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling is mandatory.

• Current LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) licensure in New Jersey is essential.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health evaluation techniques, treatment planning, developmental psychopathology, and various therapy modalities, including family and group therapy.

• Experience with DSM-IV diagnoses and behavioral therapy systems is preferred.
\n
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required.
\n
• Ability to meet the mental and physical demands of the role effectively.

• Strong knowledge of community resources available for mental health and social support.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 105,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
