Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients struggling with mood disorders, ensuring a clear understanding of the severity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' specific needs, goals, and preferences, utilizing evidence-based interventions.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to each patient's unique experiences.

• Educate and empower clients and their families with knowledge about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to foster recovery.

• Closely monitor client progress throughout treatment, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to treatment, enhancing the overall care provided to patients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to continuously refine therapeutic practices.

• Maintain professional and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Advocate for clients by promoting the de-stigmatization of mood disorders and ensuring access to necessary mental health resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Therapist will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our clientele comprises individuals from diverse backgrounds, each with unique experiences and challenges. As a result, the therapist’s role is pivotal in providing culturally competent and effective treatment that meets the varied needs of our patients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in Illinois as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and strong collaboration skills to work effectively with psychiatrists and other medical staff.

• A proven track record of achieving successful patient outcomes in managing mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
