Work Environment\n

This position operates primarily in a telehealth setting, allowing for flexibility and convenience in delivering mental health services. Our practice extends its operating hours from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week, allowing for flexible scheduling to accommodate a variety of client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' histories and individual needs.

• Develop and implement evidence-based individualized treatment plans, focusing on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and the promotion of mental wellness.

• Utilize proven therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Deliver impactful individual therapy by guiding clients to process traumatic experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and facilitate their healing journey.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and allied health professionals, to formulate a cohesive and integrated care approach for each patient.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies when necessary.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, enhancing their understanding and resource awareness.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure high-quality care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to remain abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma-informed care.

As an LPC at Silver Star Mental Services, you will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges related to trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Experienced in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in trauma-informed care.
