Divine & Associates Children's Health Care System is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dedicated team in El Paso, Texas. Work Environment\n

This role allows for a flexible work setting with remote capabilities, while also offering the chance to engage directly with clients at our outpatient office in El Paso. We operate seven days a week from 7 AM to 10 PM, providing our counselors with the flexibility needed to balance both professional commitments and personal life.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds and formulate appropriate treatment strategies.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience, and the enhancement of coping mechanisms.

• Administering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma and develop essential life skills.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive care and integration of services for patients.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during trauma-sensitive emergencies, ensuring clients have access to immediate assistance.

• Educating clients and their families about trauma, resilience mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation that aligns with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in case consultations and professional development initiatives dedicated to trauma-informed practices.

• Staying informed about evolving research and evidence-based practices within trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice primarily focuses on children and adolescents facing trauma, anxiety, and behavioral health concerns. We welcome behavioral health generalists who are open to working with couples and families, recognizing the broad impact of trauma on relational dynamics. You will be supported with specialized training to ensure effective client engagement and therapeutic success.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LPC in Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 110,000 annually, with additional opportunities for financial growth through performance-based bonuses.
