This full-time position encourages a blend of both telehealth and in-person interactions with clients, primarily based in Brownsville, Texas. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Oasis Mental Clinic, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand clients' histories and identify suitable treatment strategies.

• Creating individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, fostering client resilience, and enhancing overall mental health.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing trauma, developing coping mechanisms, and embarking on a healing journey.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to patient care.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, while providing resources to support ongoing recovery.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical practices.

• Engaging in regular team consultations, professional development activities, and continuous learning to remain informed of best practices in trauma therapy.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• The ability to remain calm and composed during high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

We encourage candidates with at least 2 years of post-licensure experience, particularly those who have a proven track record of delivering trauma-focused therapies. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team will be advantageous for your success in this role. Additionally, we prefer behavioral health generalists open to working with couples, with training provided as needed.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position is competitive, with a salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a robust salary, we are pleased to offer:
