Position Overview

The Health Connection, located in the vibrant community of Elizabethport, New Jersey, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient office. This full-time position offers competitive annual compensation ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000. As a crucial member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, implementing personalized treatment plans, and facilitating rehabilitation efforts to promote overall well-being.

Work Environment

The Health Connection operates in a professional outpatient office setting that encourages a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. Our team works Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a structured work schedule with opportunities for flexible hours to accommodate personal commitments. We have a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced rehabilitation tools, modalities, and resources to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to accurately assess patients' physical conditions, functional capabilities, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect assessment findings and align with each patient's specific recovery goals.
• Utilize a wide range of hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate pain reduction, enhance mobility, and restore functional abilities.
• Provide education and guidance regarding proper body mechanics, posture, and injury prevention strategies to empower patients in their rehabilitation.
• Continuously monitor and document patients' progress in response to treatment, making adjustments to plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive and cohesive patient care.
• Maintain organized and accurate patient records, ensuring all interventions and outcomes are thoroughly documented in accordance with compliance and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses a diverse group, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals with chronic pain conditions, post-surgical patients, and those experiencing mobility challenges. The Health Connection tailors its therapy services to meet the wide-ranging needs of clients, including spinal care and sports physiotherapy, facilitating recovery and promoting long-term health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist, adhering to New Jersey state regulations.
• Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is highly preferred.
• At least five years of clinical experience, with proficiency in working with a variety of conditions and treatment modalities.
• Strong knowledge of advanced physical therapy techniques, tools, and methodologies used in outpatient settings.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to meet the personalized rehabilitation needs of each patient.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in outpatient physical therapy settings, especially in areas such as sports rehabilitation or spinal care, is preferred. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems will be beneficial, as we prioritize efficient and accurate patient documentation.
