Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in our outpatient clinic, you will enjoy a collaborative, fast-paced, and supportive work environment. Our facility operates during regular business hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized therapeutic services to clients, carefully assessing their individual goals and needs to design effective treatment plans.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, allowing for thorough evaluation and treatment sessions tailored to each person's condition.
• Apply your specialized knowledge in orthopedic outpatient care to facilitate patient recovery through targeted interventions.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and cost-effective treatment modalities that enhance patients' functional abilities.
• Advocate for non-surgical alternatives and educate patients on minimizing reliance on medications to manage pain and enhance mobility.
• Create comprehensive care plans, integrating a variety of therapeutic approaches including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities.
• Provide motivation and support throughout the rehabilitation journey, encouraging patients to achieve their fitness and wellness objectives.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Regularly assess treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans based on patient progress and outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment details accurately, utilizing EMR systems such as Web PT to enhance workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey—or eligibility for licensure—must be held, with a clean record related to sanctions or board actions.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and exercise program design is crucial.
• Experience in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, for precise documentation is preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and staying abreast of the latest research and techniques in physical therapy practice.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient physical therapy clinic or sports medicine setting is highly desirable.
