Accounts Payable Specialist Client: Nonprofit Organization Location: New York, NY Hybrid 3 days a week onsite 2 days from home Pay: $30-$35/hr Contract with potential to convert 35 hours a week Great Plains experience is required Non Profit experience is preferred Our nonprofit client is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to support full-cycle accounts payable operations. Responsibilities Process full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payments. Maintain vendor records and resolve payment inquiries. Process transactions in Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT and Great Plains AP . Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end close. Ensure accurate expense coding and compliance with internal controls. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience. Experience with Great Plains AP module (required). Recent experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT (Expense Management & Accounts Payable modules) preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, expense recognition, and cost allocation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cloud-based financial systems. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
