Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and mental health assessments to determine client needs, preferences, and treatment goals.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices and client input.

• Lead engaging therapy sessions utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to assist clients in overcoming challenges.

• Facilitate discussions with clients to explore coping strategies and develop skills aimed at managing emotional and behavioral symptoms effectively.

• Maintain thorough and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development, including attending workshops and supervision sessions, to enhance your clinical competencies and stay informed of best practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Valid independent license from the state of Washington, such as: \n

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  \n
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

• Ability to conduct appropriate assessments and establish effective treatment plans based on clinical evaluations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine capacity for empathy and understanding.

• Proficiency in using technology to provide telehealth services effectively, including knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Preferred Experience\n

Previous experience in a telehealth setting or familiarity with remote work protocols is highly desirable. Candidates with experience in specialized populations, such as children, adolescents, or trauma survivors, will be given preference. Additionally, an understanding of multicultural competence and sensitivity in addressing diverse client backgrounds is valuable.
