Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Radiant Path, your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of activities aimed at enhancing student mental health:

• Implement various therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique needs of each student.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.

• Collaborate with educational staff and other mental health professionals to provide coordinated care, facilitating a holistic approach to student well-being.

• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss student progress, share insights, and develop strategies for overcoming challenges.

• Offer psychoeducation to students and their families regarding mental health conditions, available resources, and coping strategies.

• Stay informed on the latest research in mental health and incorporate innovative practices into your clinical work.

• Manage a full caseload, ensuring timely follow-ups and effective treatment goal achievement while upholding the ethical standards set by the NASW.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily focus on supporting school-aged children and adolescents who encounter various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and emotional disturbances. You will provide critical support in a school environment, partnering with educators and families to promote healthy coping mechanisms and resilience among students.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

• At least 3 years of direct clinical experience providing psychotherapy services in a relevant setting.
