Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Utilize state-of-the-art teletherapy tools to deliver effective counseling sessions focused on emotional support, crisis intervention, and grief counseling.

• Facilitate ongoing therapy sessions using therapeutic techniques grounded in best practice approaches.

• Engage with clients through active listening, empathy, and clinical insights to foster a supportive therapeutic environment.

• Monitor and document client progress while consistently adapting treatment plans as necessary.

• Participate in virtual interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and share insights that enhance team effectiveness.

• Manage an individual caseload that allows for between 5 to 40+ hours of therapy sessions per week based on your availability and preferences.

• Provide emotional support to clients’ families and caregivers, ensuring they too feel validated and supported.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve clients experiencing the emotional toll of terminal illnesses, caregivers in need of support, and families navigating grief and loss. Clients are pre-screened to ensure they are stable and present low acuity mental health needs, allowing you to focus on therapeutic tasks that lead to meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California.

• No disciplinary actions on your professional license; a clean, ethical record is essential.

• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on professional collaboration with clients and team members.

• A dedicated and quiet space to conduct therapy sessions in accordance with confidentiality and privacy standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, we are thrilled to provide a significant sign-on bonus of $3,000, payable upon seeing your first client within two weeks of your onboarding.
