Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating engaging group therapy sessions designed to foster mutual support and understanding among clients, encouraging them to share their unique experiences and insights.

• Providing individualized therapy sessions focused on exploring clients' thoughts and emotions, helping them develop effective coping strategies and practical action plans.

• Creating and reviewing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring their specific needs, preferences, and goals are at the forefront of their care.

• Monitoring clients' progress through various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with young adults aged 18 to 30 in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often faces significant mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related issues. Your role will be critical in guiding these individuals through their healing journeys, helping them towards recovery and personal empowerment.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid Louisiana LPC license or eligibility for licensure, demonstrating a commitment to professional standards of practice.

Preferred Experience\n
