Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations to gather detailed information about clients’ histories and current challenges.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that leverage evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions effectively, tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs of each client and employing various techniques based on assessed needs.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at helping clients understand their conditions, build coping strategies, and foster a sense of community.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide holistic care and seamless treatment for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring timely, appropriate support.

• Educate clients about mental health issues, available resources, and coping strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in continuing education and professional development activities to stay updated with advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse patient population includes individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. Counselors will work with individuals, couples, and families, providing a broad spectrum of therapeutic support tailored to meet the diverse needs of the clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Valid and active licensure as LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities supported by evidence-based practices.

• Proven track record of conducting mental health assessments that lead to effective treatment planning.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with clients from various backgrounds.

• Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and professional boundaries in clinical practice.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other software necessary for documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n
