Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions, symptoms, and medical history.
• Utilize assessment tools to diagnose movement dysfunction and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Instruct patients on therapeutic exercises to enhance mobility, strength, and function.
• Administer manual therapy techniques, including massage and mobilizations, aimed at reducing pain and promoting healing.
• Guide patients in the effective use of therapeutic equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and resistance bands.
• Maintain meticulous patient records, documenting evaluations, treatment progress, and modifications to care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on in-home treatment options, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgery rehabilitation, chronic pain syndromes, and neurological disorders. Our Physical Therapists work diligently to design and implement custom rehabilitation plans that address each patient's unique challenges, ensuring a comprehensive and empathetic approach to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and staff.
• Proficiency in organizational and computer skills, including electronic medical record systems.
• Demonstrated adaptability and agility in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatric care, and neurological rehabilitation will be prioritized. Experience with evidence-based practice and familiarity with advanced rehabilitation technologies will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
